My name is Mrs. Ryanne Meschkat, and I am a full time Video Production, and TV Production teacher at Canyon High School. This is my 6th year at Canyon High School; before teaching, I worked in Sports Production as an Associate Producer. I worked on shows such as: KCAL Dodgers and Lakers, TV Team Golf Championships on Fox Sports West, and Special Olympics 1 Hour Special on KCAL.
I received my teaching credential in English from Cal State Northridge with honors in English Student Teaching. I also hold my Career Technical Education credential in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment industry sector. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelors in Mass Comm. and Journalism from the University of New Mexico. While in college, I played softball for the Lobos and was a ESPN the Magazine All-Academic team member. I grew up in Burbank, CA and still live there with my husband of 9 years, daughter, and son. Overall, I love my job because I get to connect with students through film, hands on projects, and discussion. I have the honor of helping and watching my students grow into responsible citizens. |
